Slice of Alabama/Part 3: Historical Downtown Selma

While I was home (Selma, AL) Mom and I went on a tour of historical downtown.  Old Live Oak Cemetery, the river, the farmer's market, etc.  It's truly unique and so beautifully Southern. Some of the most breathtaking and haunting places I know.

Thought I would share the photos from that day.

The Farmer's Market and the river area...

Even though I've spent my whole life here, I never get tired of it.  The moss-covered trees, the history, etc.

It's just really hard to beat it.
